WWW.SVIF.SE You can search through all the SVIF hostels from the north of Sweden to the south.
SVIF has hostels at more than 160 places all around Sweden in both urban and rural settings, many of which can be booked online.
- CHECK THE CHECK-IN TIMES!
You can usually check in to hostels in cities at any time of day or night, but smaller hostels often have restricted opening hours, so please make sure that you are aware of the check-in times of the hostel that you have booked. Payments are usually to be made upon arrival, unless you have booked online.
- CHECK CANCELLATION TERMS.
It is usually okay to cancel your accommodation up to 6pm one day prior to arrival, but this can vary between hostels. To avoid misunderstandings and unnecessary costs, take a look at the terms and conditions when booking.
- SAVE MONEY!
If you would like money over for something else, why not take your own sheets, make your own breakfast and clean your room before leaving. If you forget to bring your own bedclothes, you can rent sheets from the hostel.
- MAKE THE MOST OF LOCAL KNOWLEDGE
Hostel employees, particularly in smaller places, are usually very knowledgeable about the area. Make the most of their local knowledge and ask about local specialities and great spots that might not be marked on tourist maps. Almost every hostel has a very dedicated manager who will do his or her best to ensure that your stay there is perfect in every way.
